From April to June 2018, Caterina Barontini recorded 100 pieces composed by the authors that she loves most: Galuppi, Cimarosa, Paradisi, Bach, Handel, Scarlatti, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Chopin, Mendelssohn, Grieg, Brahms, Liszt, Rachmaninov, Debussy, Ravel, Prokofiev, Satie, De Falla, Bartók and Yiruma. Caterina’s aim is to take the listener on a journey through the history of piano music, from the 18th Century to Contemporary Piano. She has collected her recordings both in thematic compilations and in a complete library. Caterina wants to offer an overview on the evolution of music as a language capable of telling stories and spreading emotions.
